The top 8 qualifiers for the world’s most lucrative badminton tournament are now confirmed. The HSBC BWF World Tour Finals will take place in Hangzhou, China, from December 11-15, 2024, where players will fiercely compete for a share of the US$2.5 million prize pool.
Each Member Association can qualify a maximum of two players or pairs, while the reigning Olympic champions automatically earn an invitation.
The group stage draw will occur on December 7 at the Intercontinental Hotel in Hangzhou. Fans can watch the draw ceremony live, starting at 11 a.m. local time (UTC +8), via BWF TV, Facebook, and Weibo.
In addition, the new HSBC BWF World Tour Finals trophy will be unveiled for the first time during the draw ceremony.
